I have a '01 Chevy Blazer 4.3 V6 4x4, and everytime I take off from a stop a loud metal on metal clicking noise can be heard from what seems 2 be under the driver seat. When the car is parked I grab the intermediate drive shaft, that goes from the transfer case to the front differential, and can slightly turn it and shake it and the noise is similar to noise heard when driving. When on a lift and put in gear accelerating, there is no noise, but when bearing the load of the car itself on ground, it's ridiculously loud. Not too positive if the driveshaft in question is the problem or not, because I cant ride underneath the car when taking off on ground obviously. Could this be a commonly overlooked problem? Or does anyone have any suggestions, I'm open 4 any reasonable solutions!
