2000 Chevy Silverado question

My wife and I just bought a used 1500 LT. It is a really nice truck, however as I was following my wife home (she was driving the truck) I noticed that the left rear wheel did not line up with the left front wheel. The right side looks good! What is the problem here? Please help and any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately many vehicles do this, and no one will actually say (at least to me) whether it's really harmful for the vehicle to do this or not. I've seen it as a result of someone doing a poor job of replacing leaf springs. Having the truck aligned will help.
