It may be your scanner. Have you tried taking it to a nationally recognized parts store and having them scan it and reset it?

Let me know.

The computer was from a shop, my son in law brought it home with him to try and help me out, after he cleareds the computer of any error codes he checked it again and it said "no error codes found" but the damb light is still on?

That is odd. Try what I said. Take it to a nationally recognized parts store and see if they find any codes and can reset the light. Also, if that doesn't work, disconnect the battery for at least 15 minutes to see if that resets it.

NOTE: When a battery is disconnected for a period of time, the computer will have to relearn things. As a result, you may experience some driveability problems for a short "relearn" time.

Let me know what happens. If neither the parts store nor the battery disconnection helps, I will help you figure it out.
