My truck idles verry high in park and neutral and I wanted to know how to turn it down

Sometimes with a high-mileage engine, you have to set the idle for drive, just to get it to run. Because there isn't much load on the engine in park or neutral, yes, the idle will be high.
This info is for rochester carb, if you put a carb kit in it,the instructions for idle adjustment, is in the kit.
