2004 Chevy Trailblazer speedometer not working

Car runs great. Idles very quite. Last night. Speedometer quit working. But the rpm meter still works. Then service light came on.

Car serviceed every 3-4K and lserviced recently

Check engine light on

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on

Could be a problem with the vehicle speed sensor-
