2003 Chevy Trailblazer fan level 2 not working

2003 Chevy Trailblazer

My wife's 2003 trailblazer's fan speed level 2 is not working, but all other speeds are working. Will this end up affecting other levels or what could the cause of just this one speed not working be?

Hello,

As long as you can deal with just the on not working right now don't worry about it.

Sound like your Blower Motor Resistor going out. It will sooner or later get down to a couple working then none.

It is located near the Blower Motor under passenger dash, here's wha it looks like.....
