2003 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I am going to try to a help a friend who has an 03 Tahoe that has been running rough. He has changed the fuel pressure regulator, plugs, wires, and used fuel injector cleaner and gotten no improvement. Somebody else looked at it and said the fuel pressure is down around 50psi. He also ran the truck with only the drivers side plug wires connected and it ran just as it did with all 8 wires hooked up. The service engine light is on and blinking. Can you please give me an idea of where I should go from here. Thanks

SES light coming On indicates a problem within the engine management system-you need to scan the computer for code/s this is your starting point.

The fuel pressure should be 55-62psi, yours is low
