2000 Chevy Tahoe The truck turns on but then it starts chok

The truck turns on but then it makes a sound like it's choking like it doesn't have gas. I had finished putting $40. Dollars worth of gas and then it does this probably five minutes after. Any ideas what could be?

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge designed for your fuel system if its within specs and get back with the readings we start here.
