Hey QT,
I may be able to help a little. The computer will go thru self tests. Some will not run if a problem is found in an earlier self test. IF a fault is found it will set the check engine light. Once the repair is made, the computer will start the self test again and rund the test that it couldn't run earlier due to the MAF. Now it sees a second problem and again throws the light.
As far as the no start situation. Does the turn over but not start when you turn the key or does it not turn over and do nothing when you crank the key? The former may be related to the MAF/O2 situation but may not be. The latter is less likely to be related to the MAF/O2 situation.
