I recently rented a 2007 chev suburban in jackson wy. After a stop on the first day the suburban lost power and the engine power reduced indicator ligth came on. We called the rental company and they had the car towed and gave us another suburban. I have now received a bill for over $600. The mechanic who repaired it for the rental company reconnected the throttle position sensor wire and claimed"wiring had been kicked by driver and disconnected " I did not kick any wiring so I am wondering if this wiring connection is all or nothing or could have been in a partially connected state caused by someone previous to me and happened to become totally disconnect while I was driving.

TPS is under the hood, these are the only connectors at the gas pedal, if you kicked one of these off, I'd blame Chevy for where they are!
