2001 Chevy Suburban Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Started truck this morning let warm for 20 min. Loaded kids on bus, went back to house to load other kids, turned car off 2 min. Went to restart it started ran began to spit sputter and then went dead attempted to restart will not recrank engine just turned over and over and over

Do you think the theft system may be causing a problem, is the lite flashing or anything?

Can you check for codes? Can you do some basic tests? Have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs, if you have good spark everywhere, check fuel pressure.
