1994 Chevy Suburban V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The whole fan belt came off of the engine how can I replace it without the assistanct of a mechanic?

You should be able to do this one by your self. First of all you need to find out why the belt fell off. Usually they dont just fall off. Loook at the alignment of the pulleys and spin all pulleys and feel for one that is rough or wobbles and replace them. Them purchase a new belt and route it the way it shows you on the picture under the hood on the radiator shroud. There will be a belt tensioner in the center top of pulleys. Put a wrench on it and pull it up to loosen tension to install the new belt. Hope this helps
