1993 Chevy Suburban service engine soon

My service engine soon light has started to come on, and now starting the car has become a problem. It wants to start but I have to pump the gas to start it. When it starts lots of exhaust exits the exhaust pipe and the smell of gas is extreme with lots of smoke. This has just started to happen to my car.

If the light is on, there is a code stored in the computer to identify the problem. Take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and ask them to scan the computer. Most stores will do it for free, and then you'll know where the problem is coming from.
