To state the obvious:
safely stabilize the truck and remove the tire.
I believe it is an 18mm socket that will remove the calipers. (Ihave a 2500HD, so yours maybe a bit smaller) You have to access these bolts from the backside of the caliper. Contrary to popular belief, you DON'T have to remove the break line, just be careful and flip up the entire caliper assembly on top of the A-arm and use a bunjee cord to hold it in place. IF you have any retaining rings (very thin metal washers that are pushed on 1 maybe 2 lug nuts to secure the rotor) you will have to revmoe these first. Cut, pry, bend, snap, whatever, they are not needed for reassembly (they are for convience only). Once these are removed then pull the rotor off and have turned or replaced...... or whtever your doing with it......
