What makes the"Service 4-wheel drive" light come on.

the above service light comes on periodically and appears to be related to cool/cold ambient temperature. The front diff. Has the correct oil level

It could be a sensor. What to do is take the truck to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. If the light has been on, the computer should have stored a trouble code which will help us identify the problem.

NOTE: Most nationally recognized parts stores will scan it for free. When they do it, ask them to tell you the code they recovered so I know what we are dealing with.

The code that is set is B2725 when the Service 4-wheel drive message is displayed
