Windshield wipers work intermittently

What would cause my windshield wipers to only work intermittently and my blinkers to do the same thing?

Sometimes the wipers will work when you turn them on and sometimes they don't. They also don't come to a stop where they are suppose to. They might stop in mid windshield blocking my view. About 2 days ago I noticed my blinkers will stop working in mid blink. What is going on?

My wipers/blinkers/cruise control are all on one arm located on the steering column.

Thank you for the donation.

It could be 2 separate problems or related to each other via the switch. Test the switch first.

Chevy's have a wiper module located inside the wiper motor, a common problem.

If the turn signal fault is not due to the switch, you need to replace the flasher.
