The push button to turn A/C on won't turn the system on and air flow only comes out of defrost and floor vent. I checked all fuses and they are okay both interior and under the hood. I pulled the push button and dial knob panel assembly out and inspected for loose wires and all seam to be intact.

You are dealing with two problems here. First, was there power to the push button?

As far as the air flow direction, that is controled by vacuum. Check for vacuum leaks under the dash and hood. If you are really lucky, you may hear a hissing sound where the leak is coming from.

Yes, there was power previously to the push button. Everything was working fine and then it all quit at the same time including the heat and blower. I found the blower had a wire that became disconected, plugged it back in and have it working. The heat works now and the hot/cold dial works.

I figured the other problem was vacuum and have been looking for leaks with no luck so far. I will keep looking but it may take some time.

Thank you for your quick response!

Let me know what you find. I would say that 99% of the time it is a vacuum leak.
