Mechanically turbos are reletively easy to install (oops I used the easy word :) ).

You are better off finding a kit, as new headers are required to divert exhaust gases to turbo inlet. You will have to tee into oil supply and generally punch a hole in the oil pan for oil return. Tee into heater hoses for coolant supply, and kit will come with either completely new exhaust or use part of existing exhaust.

MOST IMPORTANTLY the PCM will have to be reprogrammed to compensate for boost, in some cases a new PCM is required and depending on boost level, new injectors and fulel pump will need to be replaced.

Try Summit racing or Jegs for kits.

YOU MUST use a synthetic oil, colder plugs and high octane gas.

Good kits with reprogrammed PCM's will run up to $6,000.
If you try to run a turbo, even at low boost (5-6psi) without a reprogrammed PCM you will run the engine lean and burn a piston.

If you cannot find a turbo kit you should be able to find a supercharger kit.
