hello, i have a 88 chevy silverado 1500 and the front grill is getting old, and i want to get a new one, but i like the look of the newer ones better. I know that i can use a grill from the 1994 models. i know that it can be done but what i don't know is what else i need in order to make the switch. So what i'm asking is what all do i need to make the swith from my older 88-93 grill to a newer one (94-99) thank-you.

Should fit right in. You may need to drill a few extra holes. A grille is simple. Few screws and snaps and its off.

I heard that I would need to get bumper fillers to convert it to fit better or somthing, is this true?

Itll fit good. But the fillers will make it look better. But not necessary.
