I will be driving along and the engine will die. You can pull over and turn it off and it will start back up, but some of the times it didn't completely die, it would just bog down. This has happened on two seperate days, months apart but it happened several times each day. The first time it happened it was close to empty, but today it was almost full. Both times I didn't get any kind of check engine light or anything abnormal on the gages prior to the problem. I am thinking it is a fuel problem, I changed the fuel filter the last time this happened. What do you think?

Most common is fuel problem. Check the connector on the sending unit, I find a lot of these with intermittent problems that the connector ground or gray power wire gets hot and slightly melts. Look real close, make sure the conne3ctors are not loose and there are no signs of heat. Hope this helps
