Question? After I shift from 4H to 2H I get a loud bang after driving a short distance (100 yards or so).
I only shift in and out at a complete stand still with transmission in neutral. So I am puzzled on why its doing this. It seems like the 4W does not completely disengage when I shift to 2H. It is a electric shift. Is ita transfer case issue? Now I have a hum comming from my front right wheel Shouldn't be my bearings because I replaced them 3 months ago..Please advise.

i would have the front diff inspected again. they may not have the back lash set right causing a noise and your bang that your hearing. it should be under warranty after 3 months
