2002 Chevy S-10

You would need to remove the interior door panel. Then release the latch and free it up. Then you can replace the handle. Be aware that there is a much better aluminum handle available in the after market. It isn't cheap but it's a fix it and be done instead of the replace the broken plastic handle every couple of years repair.
