Hi!
I changed my fuel pumps a few months ago and the truck was running fine. Recently it starts hard and after driving it until it gets warm it starts to lose power and will not be able to drive. It I let it sit for a few minutes and restart it, it will run ok for a few miles and the same thing will happen again. There are no fault codes.
I did not change the wire harness to the fuel pump! Could this be the cause?

If the check engine light didn't come on, then I question the fuel pump pressure and the catylatic converter. Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Here is a how to:

The best time to check it would be when the engine looses power. Also, did you replace the fuel filter when you did the pump? Also, check the catylatic converter to make sure it doesn't seem to be plugging. If they are, you may hear a restriction in the system, see it glow red hot at night, or there may be a rateling coming from it. You can check back pressure, but check for the other things I mentioned first.
