Engine Performance problem
1987 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Full tune up. Also replaced all major fuel components except the injector. The truck drives ok. But it has a miss. Do internal distrubitor parts go bad or maybe its the coil. Or maybe its just an old chevy that needs to be sold for parts. Help please

Yes especially this truck the distributor shafts gets cracked and it moves the ignition timing. I always overhaul the distribuot when there is a problem. I replace the module, pick up coil and the mainshaft. Also unplug egr valve because they will cause a lean misfire that will feel like a ignition skip.
