What do I need to do the engine purrs like a kitten, but seems to use 2 quarts of oil a month. No leaks. what should I do?

If you are having to add to oil each month than it must be leaking somewhere, either internally or externally. If tehre are no wet spots / signs of an external leak than most likely it is internal. Internal leaks are usually caused by worn piston rings and/or valve seals. Do you notice any blue-ish smoke from the exhaust either at start-up only or anytime while engine is running?
