Transmision question

I have a 1983 s10 truck 2.8 with overdrive transmission. My problem is. Once in a great while while driving on the hwy I lose speed. I push the gas down but no avail. Replaced filter, fluid, stilll same problem. This just happens. One day just fine, next day a problem, then the next day it;s fine again. Any suggestions?

If it is a problem in tranny- replace fluid and add a bottle of Lucas transmission fix. Guaranteed to help. I had a 79 camaro that would always lose power in third gear like I was running out of gas. Turned out to be power valves in my carb. Bought new carb right out of the box and fixed problem immediately
