I have a problem with my back up lights, I replaced my lightbulbs and I still get nothing. To be safe and make sure I dont mess anything up I want a little more help and info on what I should check out next. My mom said I should check the cables that are connected to the transmission but I do not know which ones I should be checking for or what to do?

Yes, you should check not only the wiring harness connection to the transmission, but also the back up light wires running the length of the vehicle. First, check your fuse box for burnt out fuses. Then check for cracked wires, wires with stripped insulation, (they might be grounding themselves on a metal surface) loose wire connections, dirt/oil/moisture or water in wire plug connectors. Sometimes the problem is just a very simple one.
