Air in brake system

Can air get into the brake system through the calipers or rear drums on a 96' chevy lumina(car) without antilock brakes??

Yes. If the bleed valve is opened, then air can get into the line. Or you could get air into the line by a hole in the line or even maybe through a leaky seal.
