You have to pull the nuts off the outside of te axles and hit the axle to have it come loose then there are two large nuts with a locking washer pounded over the one large nut. It is probably 2&1/2" or more. Then you pull the wohle drum assy off. It is heavy work to do have a pro do it as they have the tools for it and I will cost you less in the long run.
