How do I remove the throttle body so that I can clean it and possibly clean the egr piping.

You really don't need to remove it, just get some choke cleaner and spray both sides of the throttle plate really well. Also spray the oblong hole that is where the idle air control is. It may start hard after you do this and make sure to put the air duct on before you try to start it. The EGR piping is heldo n by a couple of bolts but shouldn't need cleaning.
