2001 Chevy Monte Carlo Antifreeze Smell

Last night, someone told me my car is smelling like burning antifreeze. What is the best way to determine the cause (easy fix verses shop fix).

Any advice is appreciated

You may have a leak somewhere in the cooling system. The only way to tell where is to build pressure in the cool system. A shop can do a pressure test in about 5 mins. They would most likely do the test for free so you would get your car fixed by them if something turns up.
