2000 Chevy Monte Carlo 164856 miles

my fuel guage reads full and is stuck on full. It doesn't move up or down when I put gas in it. I fill up on gas every other day. I worry that I might run out of gas. Can u please help me figure out what the problem could be. Thank YOU!

Mostlikely the tank float is stuck. If you don't want to drop tank then set trip meter and use a conservative MPG for car. When you hit that milage fill up. I've driven my truck that way for 6 yrs. And Im a mechanic
