1999 Chevy Monte Carlo my car want start

I shut my car off when I went back to start again all I get is all lights work but my car does nothing as far as starting turn the switch over nothing batter is new and starter is rebuilt but I still get nothing

Hello, do you think the theft system might be causing a problem? Is the light flashing or anything? You might try a different key? On some systems if you wait on the lite to stop flashing, it may start?
