the ant-lock light on the dashboard comes on approximately once or twice a month. Turn the car off & the light will go out. The brake pads were changed approximately 8000 miles ago. This problem was there 6 months before the pads were changed. The brakes work fine when this light comes on. Thank You Marvin

THe light is indicating a problem within the system. Chances are there is a sensor at one of the wheels going bad. You can have the computer scanned at a nationally recognized parts store to help identify the problem. Most will do it for free.

NOTE: You will have good brakes at all times; however, when the light is on, the ABS will not function.

Let me know if you have other questions.
