Car shakes when in Drive and foot on the brake!

I have a 99' Chevy Malibu, it has 80k miles, and has a 2.4 twin cam engine. When I make a complete stop and my foot is pressed on the brake all the way, the front of the car will shake.(The steering wheel, the dash.) What could this be? I replaced the spark plug, and spark plug wires, but it still does this.

I was told it may be the transmission mounts? Does that sound right? Local mechanic in my neighborhood told me that.
