what are the causes of this?

What noise is it making? I could name you a thousand things that can cause noises but that dont help you any.

A horn makes a noise too.

The worst noise is the one from the passenger seat: "slow down you're going to fast, turn the music down, blah blah"!

That problem is easily fixed by duct tape.
