I have 96 chevy impala v-8 i notice after driving for a few days there was a lag in take off and the rpm increased higher between 2nd and third gear then finally it was unable to shift into third gear the follwing day when i got a chance to to check under the hood that night my passenger side exhaust manifold was glowing red and i don't have a cat.converter
