2005 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I know many people who go out and buy cars without asking questions. I am a college student but next year I want to buy a Chevy Impala I like the car because when I rented on for a trip to Chicago it drove like a dream. My question is is this a low maintinance car or should I be looking into something else! If so what would you recommend that is dosent cost much to fix impecable gas milelage and will take me for the next 5years and I do travel alot I love the highway!

My advice is to have the car looked at by a competent mechanic before buying it.
I am partial to Hondas. The Impala is okay, but remember, the more you drive the more maintenance that will be needed. Plan on 15 cents per mile for this and budget accordingly.

Do your homework on finding one and be patient.
