MY CAR IDLES AT ABOUT 30 TO 35 MILES PER HOUR IT JUST STARTED DOING THIS AND THE GAS MILEAGE WENT FROM 20-25 DOWN TO 10-15 THANKS

Clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens

Are you saying your car will go 30mph whan not touching the gas and just idleing? Are your rpms always up that high? You can turn down your idle, but it would seem as if something broke. Lots of sensors on newer cars so it could be your idle control sensor. Check the area around you intake and look for any problems. I hope it is not the sensor. Is it just the idle or is it connected with the pedal as well. If pushing the pedal in 1/4 of the way, for instance, used to take you to 2k rpms does it now take you to 3k rpms?
