To be more specific, it seems like my fron t wheel bearing is going bad, but this grinding noise has become pretty random- mostly when brakes are applied or making slight turns, or unlevel surfaces. Though, if I set the car up for a week and start to drive again it doesnt act up for a few days. Also, the ABS light has started coming on sometimes. At speeds above 50, it sounds like a muffled helicopter. I've read where people with this problem have sepnt hundreds on bearings and breaks, only to find it was something in the circuitry instead. Dont want to be one of them.

First thing to do would be to pull the wheels off and take a look at the brakes. If there is a noise when you brake, your brake linings worn down.

If there is a grinding noise when you turn the wheel either left or right while driving above 30mph, this is usually a wheel bearing/hub issue.

With regards to your ABS light. You will have to get that scanned then diagnose the problem from there.
