Air Conditioning problem
2001 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2001 chevy impala the problem is in the AC I dont know what it is but it stops working and the themperature meter stop working too I have found a small but working solution. Just turning off the cars battery leaving it about 25 minutes without being connected to the car and then it works again but now it only works for a day or two then it starts coming hot air again any suggestions

Hello, check that the ac compressor clutch is engaged, when blowing hot air. If the clutch isn't engaged, you could track the wiring circuits, but, the computer maybe shutting it off for some reason, there could be several reasons. One reason may be if the computer thinks the engine is getting hot. Refrigerant pressure or the lack of.
