2001 Chevy Express V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Went back to Valvoline for an oilchange on my cutaway. They did the oilchang and brought me the stick to show me the oil in the full position on it. But no oil. So they drained the oil again. Checked the manufacturer specs and re added the oil. Same thing. Do I need a longer dipstick? Did my dipstick get switched?

What size V8? 5.0-5.7L 5qts, 6.5L 8 qts, 6.6L 10qts.

Well it depends on what engine you have as to how many quarts of oil it takes to fill it. You didn't say how many quarts they put in or what engine you have. 5.0ltr and 5.7ltr take 5 quarts with filter, and the 8.1 ltr takes 8 quarts with filter to fill it.
