My car recently started acting funny. It will be driving fine and then out of nowhere it will start "stressing" for fuel or something. It gets loud exaust, sounds like alot of air bubbles when I press the gas, seems to not change geers very well, it will go at very low speeds, and SOMETIMES when I get to a stop sign it will stall out. Sometimes when I first start it up it will do this, and other times I can be driving for a while and it will just switch over to this, If I just start it up and it's acting up, when I put it in drive it will stall out sometimes and sometimes it won't. When I'm already driving and it decides to act up, most of the time, it will come out of it within 10-15 min. Or so.
I took it to have it fixed and they changed a fuel line and a fuel filter, it didn't do any good. PLEASE HELP! Thank you, Carol.

Disconnect the torque converter clutch solenoid and see what happens. If the problem continues, do below:

Check and test the following below:

Oygen Sensor
Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
Cap and Rotor

Note:If it doesn't apply, disregard.
