Steering problem
1997 Chevy Cheyenne 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 219k miles

Im told that the flow control valve on the power steering pump on a 1997 chevy cheyenne is discontinued, and I continuously have leaks from this point, and I have replaced the o-rings multiple times and I still have leaks, I would like to know if there is a new pump for this model or if there is a way around this without going to a junk yard to find a replacement part.

Thank you.

With the age of this vehicle i'd take it right off and check to see if the cannister is cracked. It may be cracked or pinching the oring causing a leak. You should be able to get the pump as a rebuilt unit instead of a junk yard.
