All the lights on the car work when the head lights are off. When I turn on the head lights and turn on the left turning signal the front marker light works but the back light don't. I have put a new bulb in. Also I see where I don't have the light on but when I push on the break pedal the instrument panel lights come on.

Don't replace the headlampswitch. What you haveis an 1156 bulb in an1157 socket for the taillights. When you put your foot on the brake pedal the brake cicuit is backfeeding thru the parking light circuit, causing the dash lights to lightup. If that doesn't work replace your taillamp sockets. Good Luck, Lou
