89 Cavalier pops when ya give it gas

I have a 89 cav rs with the 2.0 tbi the car starts and idles great but when ya give it gas to fast it spits and sputters and pops thru the throttle body. And it gets wores when ya put it in gear. All it does is pop and sputters. Can you help me
