Why would my 2004 Cavalier start getting worse m.P.G.?

If you are not getting any error codes, it is time for a major tune up, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, oil change, filter.

Check plug boots for cracking and connections to coil pack.

Use recommended plugs that came from factory, usually platinum or iridium.

Thank you very much for replying to my question. I bet the items are are original and do need replaced. I was concerned about the mileage because the needle didnt stay on the full line all the way to work like my old car. But when I did the math my Cavalier has a smaller gas tank and I was getting around 32 to 35 mpg. But I will give the car the deserving tune-up. Thanks again, I appreciate it.
