i have a 1997 cavileir it will not idle or rev past 3500 its check engine light is on and its throwin a crank sensor code help

May I ask why are you reving it that high, first you need to address the check engine light. What code is it

I m trying to get the crank sensor to relearn its variation thats the code crank sensor variation not yet learned and to make it learn u have to redline the vehicle

No you need to take it to a shop and have them relearn it with there scan tools. Its the only way to do it
