Your power steering will quit anytime your engine shuts off.
The reason your engine dies is either an ignition or fuel issue.
You'll have to isolate these systems until you find the source of the problem.
Begin with checking the quality of your spark. If it isn't a crisp blue all the way through the r.P.M. Range, trace the ignition system backwards to the coils until you find the problem.
If this checks out, go to fuel next. Begin with a fuel pressure test. Then check the injectors.
Also, inspect all of your vacuum lines and fittings.
