1983 Chevy Caprice Spedometer

On cars with a sppedometer cable that goes into the transmission the drive gear can be repalced. I don't know of the formula but years ago we used a gear with more teeth to lower the speed ometer when we would put on bigger tires. And vise versa. Check with a local garage or a performace store to see if they have any input.
